Only 197 Proofs Issued
1903 $2 1/2 PR62 NGC. More than half the proof mintage of
197 pieces survives, a high number that makes the 1903 issue
available to proof enthusiasts in all levels of preservation. This
PR62 example is a delightful coin for the assigned grade. The
intense, green-gold surfaces are sharply struck and brightly
attractive with reflective mirrored finish throughout both sides.
Light field lines and a bit of cloudiness around the raised devices
