Description

Flashy 1903 Quarter Eagle, PR63

1903 $2 1/2 PR63 NGC. Proof gold coins are under constant demand from collectors because of their rarity and beauty. This example was produced in the all mirror finish that was used for just a couple of years at the Philadelphia Mint. Bright yellow gold and pleasing for the grade, with an expected number of contact marks and hairlines. The strike is bold, as one would expect. A flashy survivor from a low mintage of just 197 proofs.(Registry values: P1)
