Description
1903 Quarter Eagle, Select Brilliant Proof
1903 $2 1/2 PR63 PCGS. Both sides exhibit deep, watery reflectivity and pinpoint definition, with tinges of spotty patina on the obverse. A few minor hairlines are also seen on that side. The mintage of 197 pieces is actually among the higher production figures for the series, an indication of just how scarce these proof issues really are. The PCGS plastic holder is notably scratched on the reverse and should be replaced.(#7929) (Registry values: P1)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 288T, PCGS# 7929, GSID# 8588)
