Description

Deeply Mirrored PR64 1904 Quarter Eagle

1904 $2 1/2 PR64 PCGS. Even though the mintage was only 170 pieces with no more than 100 surviving, proofs from 1904 are actually considered a "common" date among late-date Liberty quarter eagles. This is a lovely, brightly reflective example that has rich, reddish tinted orange-gold surfaces. The fields are deeply mirrored and the devices show just a bit of mint frost. Population: 9 in 64, 25 finer (8/07).(Registry values: P1)

Metal: 90% Gold, 10% Copper
