1905 Quarter Eagle, Appealing PR64
1905 $2 1/2 PR64 PCGS. The canary-yellow fields deepen to golden-orange with an occasional rose tinge on this nicely preserved Choice proof quarter eagle. The devices are well-frosted, seemingly close to a Cameo designation as they contrast against the mirrored fields. Excellent eye appeal for this survivor from the proof mintage of 144 pieces.
