1905 $2 1/2 PR 63 NGC. This is a rare coin that is rather well preserved for the issue. The fields display the expected depth of reflectivity, but a thin veil of haziness subdues this proof quality at most angles. The boldly defined devices are readily evident, nonetheless, and neither side possesses more than the expected number of wispy hairlines for the grade.
