1906 $2 1/2 PR61 PCGS. Approximately two-thirds of the 160 proof quarter eagles struck in 1906 are still extant in various grades. This is one of the more affordable examples. The fields show undeniably deep proof reflectivity, even through light hairlines (which undoubtedly accounts for the grade). A few other shallow marks are seen on the obverse, but almost none are noted on the reverse.(Registry values: P1)
