Description

1906 Two and a Half, PR63
Collectible Proof Quarter Eagle

1906 $2 1/2 PR63 NGC. Proof Liberty gold coins are usually so rare and costly as to be uncollectible for most enthusiasts, although occasionally we have a chance to offer a collector-grade coin such as this Select proof 1906 quarter eagle. The Mint struck 160 proof quarter eagles in 1906. This piece is fully detailed and exhibits subtle field-motif contrast with rich orange-gold coloration. Light marks in the fields limit the grade.(Registry values: P1)
