Description

1907 PR 63 PCGS. A pleasing example of this rare proof issue with a mintage of only 154 pieces. Sharply struck with deeply reflective surfaces and slight cameo contrast on the devices. Just a few hairlines and field marks keep this piece from a higher category. For pedigree purposes, there is a small area of planchet porosity in the left obverse field, and a squiggly lintmark under the eagle's left (facing) wing on the reverse.
