Description

Eye Appealing Cameo 1907 PR 64 Quarter Eagle

1907 PR 64 Cameo NGC. A deeply mirrored proof that does actually show a pronounced two-toned appearance, a rather unusual occurrence as contrast is rarely seen on proofs after 1901. The surfaces display rich golden-orange accents and are hampered only by a few light patches of hairlines on either side. The overall eye appeal is outstanding for a specimen of less-than-gem quality. Just 154 proofs were issued of this final year of issue in the Liberty quarter eagle series.
