Scarce Matte Proof Issue
1909 1C VDB PR63 Brown PCGS. The 1909 VDB is the rarest of
the matte proof Lincoln cents. This Select Brown example displays
full detail and broad, squared rims. Deep burgundy and
coppery-brown toning encompasses each side. A lone speck in the
obverse field below IN is not out of line for the grade.
