1909 1C VDB PR63 Brown PCGS. The 1909 VDB is the hands-down
key among proof Lincoln cents -- a single-year type with a limited
mintage of 1,194 pieces. This Select representative showcases
mainly golden-brown surfaces with splashes of violet and blue
toning that are more prevalent on the obverse than the reverse. As
expected, every element of the Victor David Brenner design is fully
brought-up, including the sculptor's initials at the lower reverse
border. No points of obvious contact are worthy of singular
