1910 Cent, PR66 Red and Brown
Largest Mintage of the Matte Proof Cent Series
1910 1C PR66 Red and Brown PCGS. The 1910 had the largest
mintage (4,118 pieces) of the 1909-1916 matte proof cent series. A
fair number of Red and Brown examples are available through Gem
condition, after which the issue becomes very elusive. Gold-brown
patination adheres to both sides of this Premium Gem and the strike
is full throughout, including Lincoln's hair and the lines and
grains in the wheat stalks. A few light specks of carbon can be
seen on each side. Population: 25 in 66 (1 in 66+) Red and Brown, 4
