Description

1910 Lincoln Cent, PR66 Red and Brown
Significant Underlying Red Remains

1910 1C PR66 Red and Brown PCGS. National Archive records (uncovered by Kevin Flynn) indicate 4,083 proof cents were struck in 1910, a much higher number than the official Mint records of only 2,405 pieces. This example retains significant mint red over each side with a light to moderate layer of mellowed brown patina. As expected, the strike details are intricately defined on each side and there are no mentionable contact marks. Population: 28 in 66 (2 in 66+) Red and Brown, 5 finer (4/16).(Registry values: N991)
