Description

Boldly Struck 1910 Lincoln Cent
PR67 Red and Brown
Finest Offered in Many Years

1910 1C PR67 Red and Brown PCGS. As a date, the 1910 proof Lincoln cent is among the more available issues of this early matte proof variant, but certainly not at the Superb Gem grade level. This is the first PR67 Red and Brown example of this date to be offered at public auction in many years; the last such we find in our records was a Goldbergs auction in the year 2000. This sharply detailed piece displays virtually undisturbed surfaces and pleasing visual appeal. Portions of the obverse exhibit strong bronze-gold luster, while deep burgundy-brown patina occupies the remainder and overlaps much of the reverse. Encapsulated in an old green label holder. Population: 4 in 67 Red and Brown, 0 finer (4/14).
