Description

1910 Lincoln Cent, PR67 Red
Registry Set Contender

1910 1C PR67 Red PCGS. A generous mintage of 483 matte proof Lincoln cents was delivered on January 7, 1910 (498 coins were actually struck, but 15 were deemed unsuitable). The 1910 is one of the more collectible issues in the matte proof series, but examples that grade PR67, with the Red designation, are definitely rare.

This spectacular Superb Gem exhibits razor-sharp definition on all the design elements and the impeccably preserved original red surfaces show the expected fine-grained matte proof texture. A single, minuscule planchet flake in the right obverse field is the only useful pedigree marker. PCGS Population: 10 in 67 (3 in 67+), 1 finer (12/25).
