Description

1912 Lincoln Cent, PR66+ Brown
Seldom Seen This Fine, CAC

1912 1C PR66+ Brown PCGS. CAC. This 1912 cent is one of only 2,172 proofs struck, and regardless of color, the issue becomes conditionally scarce in Premium Gem. In the past 10 years, we have offered only three examples as fine as this Plus-graded Premium Gem, with one Red and Brown and the other two Browns. The strike on this CAC-endorsed example is razor sharp and the pristine, chestnut-brown matte surfaces are layered in ice-blue luster. PCGS and NGC, combined, show a total of only six finer examples in Brown (11/25).(Registry values: N991)
