1913 1C PR67+ Red and Brown PCGS. CAC. The 1913 matte proof is a rarity in Superb Gem condition, regardless of the color category. The current coin is one of the finest Red and Brown pieces known at PCGS and CAC, with only a lone NGC coin numerically finer (12/25). The obverse of this finely textured Superb Gem exhibits fiery orange luster with lovely blue and violet toning. The elegant reverse displays deep mint red and emerald-green undertones beneath golden toning. This is an extremely attractive example that will make a nice addition to an advanced Lincoln cent collection. PCGS Population: 19 in 67 (4 in 67+), 0 finer (12/25).
