Description

1913 Lincoln Cent, PR67 Red and Brown
Exceptional Eye Appeal
Tied for Finest Red and Brown at PCGS

1913 1C PR67 Red and Brown PCGS Secure. CAC. Likely due to the introduction of the new Buffalo nickel, which was only sold in silver or minor proof sets, rather than singly, the proof 1913 Lincoln cent was produced in somewhat greater quantities than in previous years (a total of 2,983 coins), but is nevertheless rare in Superb Gem condition. This piece boasts a needle-sharp strike over beautifully preserved matte surfaces. Deep violet and lilac accents complement strong bronze-gold luster on each side, giving this representative exceptional visual appeal. This piece is tied for the finest Red and Brown PCGS example with only three other submissions (4/14).
