1914 1C PR65 Red and Brown NGC. Predominantly pumpkin-gold, although the borders display pleasing cherry-red and forest-green. A penetratingly struck and exemplary Gem with luminous, undisturbed surfaces. Only 1,365 matte proof 1914 cents were struck, less than the number of 1909-S VDB cents that have survived in Mint State.(Registry values: N991)
