Description

1914 Cent, PR66 Red and Brown
Splendid Rose and Steel-Blue Accents

1914 1C PR66 Red and Brown PCGS. CAC. Dave Bowers' Guide Book of Lincoln Cents notes of the 1914 proof cent: "These are scarce today. Most pristine (undipped) coins are a rich light brown color." Such a description aptly applies to this Red and Brown Premium Gem. A full strike with broad, flat rims is expected but no less impressive. Rose and steel-blue accents over moderately granular, near-pristine surfaces account for the CAC-approved visual appeal. From a mintage of 1,365 proofs. Population: 34 in 66 (2 in 66+) Red and Brown, 4 finer (6/15).(Registry values: N991)

Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 22KX, PCGS# 3319, Greysheet# 2489)

Weight: 3.11 grams
