Description

    Sharp PR66 Red and Brown
    1915 Lincoln Cent

1915 1C PR66 Red and Brown NGC. As if the sharp strike and superbly detailed hair and coat were not enough (which they are) the proof status is also confirmed by die lines: diagonally from the rim between IN and GOD; diagonally between O and D; through the lower diagonal of the R in LIBERTY. Mostly red and lustrous, with purple-blue accents on the obverse just barely putting this Premium Gem over the line for full Red. The reverse is orange with jade accents, and both sides are carbon-free. A nice coin for the grade. Census: 19 in 66 Red and Brown, 1 finer (9/11).

The marketing was exceptional from the photos to the ads in Civil War Times and North South Trader for the cross over people!!! I have had many emails from my Civil War collecting fraternity that saw these and I saw them at the national show in Nashville/Franklin in early December.
