1916 1C PR64 Brown PCGS. Broad, squared rims frame this needle-sharp, Choice proof, which has a wire rim along the left edge of the obverse. Luminous matte surfaces are free of all distractions except for a sizable carbon spot in the obverse field above the E in LIBERTY. Rich olive-brown hues cover much of each side, although coppery-orange undertones emerge on the obverse.(Registry values: N991)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 22KZ, PCGS# 3324, Greysheet# 2494)
