Scarce Matte Proof Issue

1916 1C PR65 Brown PCGS. The Philadelphia Mint issued a meager 1,050 proof Lincoln cents in 1916, the final year of matte proof production. This attractive Gem example features razor-sharp central devices and finely textured surfaces. An eye-appealing Gem adorned in mottled tones of orange-gold, ocean-blue, and fire-red. Population: 21 in 65 (1 in 65+) Brown, 11 finer (6/25).
