Description

1941 Lincoln Cent, PR67 Red
Interesting Coloration

1941 1C PR67 Red NGC. The obverse is a consistent orange-gold, but the reverse takes a more radical approach, with light salmon patina in the center complementing some almond-gold coloration, all well within the confines of the Red designation. Both sides are expectedly free of any contact. NGC has certified only four other Superb Gems of this issue, and none finer from the original proof mintage of 21,100 coins (11/15).
