1941 Cent, PR67 Red
Tied for Finest Certified
1941 1C PR67 Red PCGS. Ex: Tom Mershon Collection. Glowing
orange-gold surfaces provide this marvelous Superb Gem proof with a
tremendous degree of eye appeal. Sharply defined design elements
further add to the attractiveness. Both sides exhibit a few silver
streaks. A few tiny flecks are present on each side. NGC has yet to
assign a PR67 grade and this piece is one of only three to have
achieved this grade level from PCGS, with none finer at either
service (5/13).Ex: Long Beach Signature (Heritage, 9/2008), lot 501, which realized $8,625.
