Description
1953 PR69 Red Lincoln Cent
Only Three So Graded
1953 1C PR69 Red PCGS. It is remarkable that out of 128,800
proof sets issued in 1953, only three cents have achieved the PR69
Red level at PCGS. This piece certainly deserves this lofty grade
with essentially perfect surfaces and bright orange-red color. The
fields have the muted reflectivity more reminiscent of 1950 proofs
rather than the later highly polished proof strikings.(Registry values: P1)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 22LD, PCGS# 3368, Greysheet# 2553)
