Description

1956 1C PR67 Deep Cameo PCGS. Beautifully struck with amazingly deep reflectivity evident in the utterly black mirror fields. The red-gold central devices are heavily frosted, and the Deep Cameo contrast is obvious on both sides. According to Tomaska (1991): "gem cameo 1956 Lincoln cents are extremely scarce ... . Ultra-heavy examples do exist, but they are quite rare." Population: 33 in 67 Deep Cameo, 6 finer (9/08).
