Magnificent PR67 1936 Dime
1936 10C PR67 NGC. This spectacular Superb Gem features cherry-red, lemon-gold, powder-blue, and jade-green toning. Fully struck and immaculate. No proofs were struck of the Mercury dime type for its first 20 years, but finally, 4,130 pieces were struck in 1936. Proof coinage continued until the needs of World War II ended specimen production after 1942.
