Wonderful 1936 Mercury Dime, PR67
1936 10C PR67 PCGS. Ex: Tom Mershon Collection. A few years ago the Heritage catalogers had the pleasure of describing the phenomenal Tom Mershon #2 All-Time PCGS Registry Set of Lincoln Wheat Cents, so it is a pleasure to see some other Registry Set-caliber denominations with the famed Mershon provenance. This wonderful Superb Gem, like many of the Mershon proof coins, has splendid original rim toning, here in shades of iridescent violet, aquamarine, and fuchsia, with silver centers and premium appeal.
