1939 10C PR68 PCGS. Ex: Tom Mershon Collection. The 1939 is of medium rarity among proof Mercury dimes, but precious few examples grade as fine as the present Superb Gem. This seemingly flawless representative is smooth from rim to rim, with just a hint of powder-gray iridescence. The needle-sharp strike is all that one would expect of a proof specimen.
