1940 10C PR68 NGC. This beautiful proof is virtually as struck, with essentially perfect surfaces. Both sides show light, streaky gray-rose toning with a wisp of limited rainbow color along the upper borders. Rarely are early proofs available in such high grade, and when they are, they are quickly absorbed into 20th century proof type sets.
