1881 $1 PR67 Cameo NGC. Excellent strike and eye appeal for this popular issue, with a small proof mintage of 984 pieces. Delicate champagne and gold patina, strongest at the rims as usual, visits gleaming and beautifully preserved mirrors. The level of frostiness on the central devices is ample for a strong cameo effect. Only one die pair known to have been used.
