1882 $1 PR66+ Deep Cameo PCGS Secure. CAC. The proof 1882
Morgan dollar is slightly scarcer than the proof Trade dollar of
this year. Although the two issues had virtually identical mintages
(1,100 and 1,097 coins, respectively), fewer examples of the Morgan
variety have survived in high grade. A number of Cameo coins are
known, but Deep Cameos are rare; CAC-endorsed Deep Cameos are even
more so. This Plus-graded Premium Gem displays staggering eye
appeal. The strike is bold, and the frost-white design elements
appear flawless. Liquidlike mirroring in the fields delivers
impeccable contrast and is devoid of perceptible hairlines. The
