1889 $1 PR66+ Cameo NGC. CAC. Proof Morgan dollar production
held steady at 811 pieces in 1889. While non-Cameo examples of the
1889 proof Morgan dollar are scarce but obtainable, Cameo specimens
are much more challenging to locate in any grade. Additionally,
only two examples at NGC have attained an Ultra Cameo designation.
Each side of this Plus-graded Premium Gem showcases eye-catching
black-and-white contrast. The effect is particularly striking on
the reverse. Census: 8 in 66 Cameo (1 in 66+), 11 finer. CAC: 7 in
