    Description

    1890 Dollar, PR67
    Dusky Multicolor Patina

1890 $1 PR67 PCGS. CAC. Ex: Simpson. This is one of only 590 Morgan dollar proofs struck in 1890. Of the 269 grading events across all categories at PCGS, just 22 submissions have qualified for the PR67 level or better. An overlay of natural violet and blue patina blankets each side, coalescing with additional accents of gold and sea-green. The delicate, dusky toning prevents sufficient contrast for a Cameo designation, but eye appeal is no less impressive because of it, and the fields are just as flashy and reflective. Population: 11 in 67 (1 in 67+), 0 finer in non-Cameo. CAC: 2 in 67, 0 finer (7/20).
