Superb Gem Proof 1894 Morgan Dollar
Lovely, Delicate Toning
1894 $1 PR67 NGC. The 1894 proof Morgan dollar boasts a
mintage of just 972 pieces. Examples in Superb Gem condition are
quite rare. Currently, NGC has graded 25 coins in MS67, with 11
finer; while PCGS has certified only three examples in this exalted
grade, with a single piece finer (6/10). The present coin features
a razor-sharp strike and iridescent lavender and gold toning.
Brightly reflective fields shine through the patina. Eye appeal is
