    Important 1894 Proof Morgan

    1894 $1 PR64 PCGS. The 1894 has always been one of the most highly respected dates in the proof series of Morgan Dollars. Like the 1901, the 1894 is a difficult issue to obtain in high grade Uncirculated condition, and as a result there has always been significant date pressure on proofs of these issues. This is a brilliant coin that is deeply mirrored and even shows some modest frosting on the devices (although no cameo contrast is acknowledged on the holder). Fully and intricately detailed also with no loss of detail over the ear of Liberty or on the eagle's breast.
