    Description

PCGS 1895 PR 62. The King of the Morgan dollar series. As a proof coin the 1895 is nothing special in this series since 17 other dates have a lower mintage. But all the other dates have business strike mintages while the 10,000 business strike 1895s were apparently all melted. No Morgan set can be complete without a proof 1895, thus its importance to collectors. Lightly hairlined, but not as badly as one might expect on a coin of this grade. Light golden color adds to the desirability of this piece. Due to its affordability at this grade level, we expect to see a great deal of interest in this coin.
