1896 $1 PR68 Ultra Cameo NGC. Among the most attractive specimens imaginable from a proof Morgan dollar issue long celebrated for its aesthetic appeal, this PR68 Ultra Cameo 1896 dollar offers simply fantastic eye appeal. The untoned mirrors are gleaming, the "black" to the "white" of the silver-frost that makes the devices stand out, not only the portrait and eagle but the peripheral elements as well. Only a hint of haziness is visible near the branches in the wreath. In sum, this Superb Gem is a marvelous treat for the eyes.
