1899 Morgan Dollar, PR63 Cameo
1899 $1 PR63 Cameo PCGS. Cameo proof examples of the 1899 Morgan dollar are not rare but they are also far from common, as most examples offer little contrast. This Select proof exhibits perceptible field-device contrast, a bit more intense on the reverse, over gold-tinged, reflective surfaces. A single straight scrape in the left obverse field requires mention but is of little import. Population: 5 in 63 Cameo, 46 finer (5/16).Ex: Long Beach Signature (Heritage, 9/2011), lot 3814.
