Beautifully Toned
1899 $1 PR63 PCGS. This piece displays enamoring rose-silver
luster on the interior devices while sapphire toning circles the
rims. The example is well struck with no readily apparent weakness,
with no abrasions that would obscure the visual appeal. The 1899
proof issue is around the intermediate end of proof mintages with
just 846 examples struck, coins however are seldom seen finer than
this Select proof. PCGS Population: 67 in 63 (1 in 63+), 88 finer
