1900 Dollar, PR68 Cameo
1900 $1 PR68 Cameo NGC. Robust contrast between the frosty
devices and the profoundly mirrored fields characterizes this
richly detailed, phenomenal Cameo Superb Gem proof specimen.
Although the 1900 Morgan dollar is among the more obtainable proof
issues from the 1900s, with an original proof mintage of 912
specimens, this example's blazing, pristine condition is not
readily equaled, and it is unsurpassed at either service,
regardless of contrast level. The surfaces are completely
brilliant, with some light-gray toning flecks on Liberty noticeable
only under a glass. Superb in every way, and among the finest
Morgan dollars of this issue. Census: 7 in 68 Cameo (2 in 68
★ Cameo), 0 finer (6/13).
