Description

1902 Morgan Dollar, PR64+
Brilliant and Attractive Proof, CAC

1902 $1 PR64+ NGC. CAC. The Mint reduced proof production every year starting in 1900, with the reduction in overall quality trending the same way. This Plus-graded Choice proof is fully brilliant with satiny devices that deliver strong eye appeal, albeit without strong cameo contrast. Save for the slightly soft hair over Liberty's ear, the devices are well-struck. Abrasions are rare, with just one of note being a tiny mark in front of Liberty's nose. Hairlines are minuscule. For the issue, this CAC-endorsed example shows above-average quality and is a very attractive piece.(Registry values: N2998)
