Only Three Finer Coins at PCGS

1856 10C Small Date PR64 PCGS. An unknown number of proof Seated Liberty dimes were struck in 1856, and probably no more than 35-40 pieces survive today in all grades and conditions. All proofs are from a Small Date die and show obverse doubling on the skirt and shield. This delightful Choice example is sharply detailed, with reflective surfaces and spectacular champagne-gold and cerulean-blue toning. Population: 9 in 64, 3 finer (10/12).
