Excellent Underlying Reflectivity

1857 10C PR66 PCGS. CAC. A crisply struck and generously toned Premium Gem from the last year of the pre-1858 period before mass proof sales. The two sides share blue-violet outer toning and gold-to-peach interiors, the former more prominent on the obverse and the latter on the reverse. Rare in any grade but especially so this fine. Population: 4 in 66, 1 finer (3/13).
