1858 10C PR65 NGC. Proper care for proof silver coinage was still totally unexplored territory when the Mint stepped up its production in 1858. Consequently, only a tiny percentage of survivors qualifies for Gem quality. This nicely mirrored specimen sports a hint of contrast beneath milky steel-violet patina. Census: 15 in 65, 11 finer (7/07).(Registry values: N2998)
