Low-Mintage Civil War Date
1863 10C PR65 Deep Cameo PCGS. F-101, R.4. The 1863 is a low
mintage Civil War date with a proof production of only 460 pieces.
This Gem exhibits jaw-dropping contrast with only the faintest
suggestion of golden color against thickly frosted devices and
gleaming silver mirrors. Carefully preserved with few post-striking
disturbances, though a planchet flake is noted below the word DIME
on the reverse. Population: 5 in 65 Deep Cameo, 4 finer (3/24).Ex: Long Beach Signature (Heritage, 9/2010), lot 5066; MKJ Collection, Part II / Long Beach Signature (Heritage, 6/2013), lot 3221.(Registry values: N1793)
