Description

1863 Dime, Incredible PR67 Deep Cameo
Sole Finest at PCGS

1863 10C PR67 Deep Cameo PCGS. CAC. We are unsure which will prove more appealing, the mid-Civil War date or the intense, sparkling appearance of this coin itself. The surfaces are entirely untoned silver-white, possessed of optimal contrast, a full strike, and pristine preservation (a couple of small, dotline indents in the planchet on the obverse are undoubtedly as made at the Mint). All the details of Liberty's head, gown, shield, and rock are clear, as are all wreath details on the reverse. Finally, the fields are looking-glass-clear, furnishing top-notch contrast against well-frosted devices. An incredible survivor from the mintage of 460 pieces. Population: 1 in 67 Deep Cameo, 0 finer (12/14).(Registry values: N4719)
