1871 Seated Dime, PR66
Only NGC Ultra Cameo Specimen

1871 10C PR66 Ultra Cameo NGC. This is the sole example of the 1871 proof dime to be awarded the Ultra Cameo designation by NGC (9/11). As one might expect from the designation, the black on white contrast is dramatic, with just the smallest trace of peripheral russet toning that affects neither the effect nor the eye appeal. A few tiny hairlines appear to determine the grade.(Registry values: P1)
